Loose Leaf Tea Market is a wellness brand with momentum. We handcraft small-batch functional herbal teas made by a trained herbalist, and we have built a loyal community of customers who genuinely feel the difference. We go viral, we are growing fast, and we are just getting started.

The Opportunity

This is not a sit-and-answer-tickets kind of job. As our Customer Care Specialist, you will be the human voice behind our brand. You will solve problems, build relationships, engage our community, and help shape what the customer experience looks like as we scale.

You will work independently, own your department, and report directly to our COO. Over time, this role has real room to grow. If you are someone who takes initiative, leads with empathy, and gets excited about being part of something bigger, we want to meet you.

What You Will Do

  • Handle customer inquiries across email, phone, and social media with warmth and professionalism.

  • Resolve order issues and complaints quickly, collaborating with the fulfillment team when needed.

  • Keep every customer interaction on-brand, genuine, and solution-focused.

  • Support outreach campaigns, loyalty programs, and membership initiatives.

  • Track patterns in customer feedback and bring useful insights to the team.

  • Engage authentically on social media to strengthen customer relationships.

What We Are Looking For

The right person for this role does not wait to be told what to do. You are the kind of person who spots a problem and fixes it, follows up without being asked, and genuinely cares about the people on the other end of every message.

You also bring:

  • 5+ years of customer service experience, ideally in e-commerce, wellness, or food and beverage.

  • Call center experience is a plus.

  • Native English proficiency, both written and spoken.

  • Exceptional writing skills, you can craft a clear, warm, professional email without it needing to be edited.

  • Patience, empathy, and a calm head when things get busy.

  • Comfort with Shopify, Gorgias, Thunderbird, and basic CRM tools, or a genuine eagerness to learn them.

  • Willingness to become Gorgias Certified within your first 90 days (we cover the training).

  • The ability to self-manage, stay accountable, and work without constant direction.

  • A real passion for people and for doing right by customers.

  • Interest in herbal tea, wellness, or natural health is a big plus.

  • A growth mindset and openness to change in a company that moves fast.
