Culture & Team Manager

Position Overview

The Culture & Team Manager is responsible for strengthening the heartbeat of Loose Leaf Tea Market, our people. This role ensures that every team member feels seen, supported, and connected to the company’s values and mission.

This position focuses on team morale, engagement, communication, and culture development. The Culture & Team Manager plays a key role in creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work, feel appreciated, and are motivated to grow.

Core Responsibilities

1. Team Culture & Engagement

  • Reinforce company core values in daily operations, in praise & correction

  • Create a positive, respectful, and energizing work environment

  • Maintain a strong pulse on team morale and engagement

  • Identify opportunities to improve team connection and satisfaction

2. Employee Experience

  • Own and manage employee celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones

  • Plan and execute team events, appreciation moments, and culture-building activities

  • Ensure new team members feel welcomed, supported, and integrated

  • Create small but meaningful moments that make the workplace feel special

3. Communication & Connection

  • Align with leadership

  • Act as a bridge between leadership and team member

  • Encourage open, respectful communication across departments

  • Support conflict resolution in alignment with leadership & company values

4. Team Support & Development

  • Support team leads in maintaining a positive and productive environment

  • Reinforce accountability while maintaining a supportive tone

  • Help identify team strengths and areas for growth

  • Encourage a growth mindset across the organization

5. Culture Systems & Consistency

  • Develop simple systems to maintain consistent team engagement

  • Ensure culture is not random but intentional and repeatable

  • Track and improve employee experience over time
